Over 9 thousand take University of Sindh entry test

For candidates' assistance, 140 young volunteers were deputed to guide them to their respective blocks

Some 9,341 candidates, including 1,801 female students, took the entry test for admissions in the bachelor degree programmes being offered by the University of Sindh.

The first phase of the test was conducted at the main campus in Jamshoro district on Sunday. The test started at 10:30am and lasted 90 minutes.

The university is offering around 11,000 seats for admissions for which more than 22,000 applications from 14 districts of Sindh besides other provinces have been received.

SU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri said the number of applicants this year is higher than previous year.

Point buses from different routes of Hyderabad and Kotri started operating at 7:30am. The Bomb Disposal Squad had cleared the entire campus after inspection.
