Muzaffargarh. Life is slowly returning to normality in the flood-affected areas of Muzaffargarh, but residents continue to face serious hardships as stagnant floodwater has caused the outbreak of various diseases, including skin infections.
Locals reported that many homes were destroyed during the floods, forcing families to sleep in open courtyards despite falling temperatures at night.
Standing water still surrounds numerous homes, resulting in a surge in mosquitoes and waterborne diseases affecting both children and adults.
