Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel says he’d “love” to have President Donald Trump as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!—even after their ongoing feud over his show’s temporary suspension.

In a recent interview with Bloomberg Radio, Kimmel revealed that while his team hasn’t reached out to Trump yet, he’s eager to invite the president for an on-air conversation. “I’d love to have him on the show,” Kimmel said. “He can tell the audience exactly what he thinks of me.”

The statement comes weeks after ABC briefly suspended production of Jimmy Kimmel Live! following Kimmel’s controversial remarks about Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer, which he suggested was a MAGA supporter. The suspension drew heavy criticism from fans and fellow comedians, prompting the network to reverse its decision.

During that period, President Trump praised ABC for taking Kimmel off the air, calling the host “talentless” and claiming his show had “no ratings.” Trump later attacked the network again when Jimmy Kimmel Live! resumed broadcasting, accusing ABC of “caving to Hollywood pressure.”

Kimmel, however, appears unfazed by the insults. While he told Bloomberg he has no interest in interviewing FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, he made it clear that Trump would be a welcome guest anytime. “He’s the president—he’s always invited,” Kimmel added.

With Trump’s first TikTok post in office already making headlines, a potential Kimmel appearance could spark one of the most-watched interviews in late-night TV history. Whether Trump accepts the invitation remains to be seen—but Kimmel’s offer stands.
