
Security forces killed seven terrorists belonging Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij in an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, security forces launched the operation on October 8 following confirmed reports about the presence of terrorists affiliated with an India-backed terrorist network, Fitna al-Khwarij
"During the exchange of fire, Major Sibtain Haider, 30, a resident of Quetta, was martyred while leading his troops from the front, paid tribute to the officer’s bravery, saying he fought valiantly until his last breath," it added

"Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, as well as the killing of innocent civilians", the statement added.
The statement added that the sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave sons further strengthen our resolve.

Yesterday, eleven servicemen — including two officers — were martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in a mountainous district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military confirmed in a statement on Wednesday, adding that 19 terrorists were also eliminated in the engagement.
"Security forces conducted an IBO in Orakzai district on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij.
During the conduct of operation, 19 Indian-sponsored khwarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement by their own troops," the military's media wing, ISPR said. Fitna Al Khawarij is the state-designated term for the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its allies.

Later, the funeral prayers for Lt Col Junaid Tariq and Maj Tayyab Rahat were offered at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, federal ministers, military and civil officers and the public attended the janaza.
