Chairing a video-link meeting of commissioners and DCs to review their performance, she directed the DCs to monitor the flood survey campaign, emphasising the need for transparent and authentic data collection.
The instructions came as the flood victims' rehabilitation survey continued across Punjab.
The chief minister was informed that 2,233 survey teams had reached flood-affected households in 27 districts to collect data.
Officials said remote flood-affected areas were being visited on boats for the flood survey.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Director General Irfan Ali Kathia said the data of 127,000 victims had been obtained.
Teams have collected details of crop loss in the floods from 88,865 farmers in different districts. More than 342,000 acres of flood-affected land has been identified in the survey.
The DG said flood survey teams had collected the data of 37,044 houses affected by the flood, and details have also been collected from 1,400 people who had lost their livestock. Details of 5,836 dead livestock have been collected.
The chief minister was informed that the PDMA is reviewing the progress of the survey on a daily basis.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also said while chairing the commissioners' meeting that maintenance of electric buses, their discipline and facilities for passengers were also included in the KPIs of the DCs. She directed the officials to establish a stand for electrobuses at each stop.
She ordered the officials to ensure the presence of zebra crossings on roads in front of government schools, besides installation of signboards for speed reduction to ensure safety of students.
