
A passenger van going from Kharian to Tala Gang collided with a tree after knocking into a buffalo.
Several people, including women and children, were injured in the accident. The accident occurred near Khewal on the Chakwal-Sohawa Road due to cattle.
A high-speed Hiace suddenly collided with a buffalo coming on the road and crashed into a tree, injuring 18 passengers. Rescue teams reached the spot as soon as they received the information.
According to a rescue spokesman, 18 passengers were injured, including three children and four women. One person was badly stuck in the vehicle, whom the rescue personnel safely pulled out after a 30-minute operation. No one was injured in the accident.
The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Chakwal. The condition of 2 of the injured passengers is said to be very critical. The passenger van was going from Kharian to Tala Gang.
