The Jaffar Express train service remains suspended following the recent derailment, with Pakistan Railways continuing repair and restoration work on the affected track and coaches.
Railway officials said that track rehabilitation is in progress and is expected to be completed soon. Once the line is declared fit, a trial run will be carried out before resuming full operations.
The train's rake has already been moved from Lahore to Sibi station, but services will remain suspended until the track is completely cleared and the derailed coaches have been lifted back onto the track.
