IShowSpeed’s massive USA tour comes with a $1 million price tag

Streaming sensation IShowSpeed was stunned to learn just how expensive his massive U.S. tour has been.

At the end of August, Speed kicked off one of his biggest streaming projects yet—a 35-day journey across 25 U.S. states. The YouTube and Twitch star has traveled coast-to-coast, hitting major parts of the East Coast, the Midwest, and eventually the West Coast, pulling in millions of views along the way.

Despite its success, the tour hasn’t gone entirely smoothly. Speed has dealt with several challenges, including interactions with police, a near charge for “rioting,” and fans dangerously tailing his tour bus.

As the tour nears its end, Speed’s team started adding up the total expenses—and the numbers shocked him. “How much, total, did I spend on this tour?” he asked a crew member. His longtime cameraman Slipz responded, “Total? All around like seven figures.”

“Seven figures? God damn! I’ve been spending this tour,” Speed reacted in disbelief. “F*ck, I don’t even be realizing because I just be streaming.”

Slipz pointed out that Speed once spent $1,500 at a Nike store without noticing, having paid for multiple people. After being told he may have made a small loss overall, Speed was even more surprised.

Much of the cost stems from travel—his custom tour bus alone is estimated at $300,000. Add in rental cars for each stop and constant security to manage his massive fanbase, and the price tag makes more sense.

Speed still plans to stream from Africa and even Antarctica, which could end up costing even more.
