The young generation is playing a pivotal role in shaping the country's digital economy, said Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja.
Addressing the graduation ceremony at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Hyderabad, she emphasized the government's determination to provide maximum opportunities and facilities for youth in the IT sector.
Currently, eight incubation centers are operating nationwide, offering state-of-the-art facilities and startup opportunities. "From Hyderabad alone, startups worth over Rs1 billion have emerged, while youth-led startups across the country have crossed Rs30 billion in value," she noted.
The minister said that, under the prime minister's directives, comprehensive funding initiatives are underway to support young entrepreneurs. Each year, more than 300,000 youth are being trained and launching their own startups. She underlined that the government is also investing heavily in human resource development and infrastructure to strengthen the IT sector.
