NFL player Stefon Diggs marked the release of Cardi B’s second album Am I The Drama? with a grand public gesture in New York City.

The rapper, who recently confirmed she is expecting her first child with Diggs, was surprised with a truck delivering a giant bouquet of red roses.

Cardi B received the flowers on September 18, the same day her new album launched. Video footage showed her wearing a bathrobe as the arrangement, created by Venus et Fleur, arrived in a decorated box featuring her image and the album title. The moment ended with the rapper embracing Diggs in front of onlookers.

The rapper confirmed her pregnancy two days earlier in an interview on CBS Mornings, saying she feels “happy” and “in a good space” as she balances preparations for motherhood with her music and touring commitments. “I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” she said. Cardi added that Diggs “just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong.”

Diggs also showed support for Cardi B online. On Instagram, he commented: “Proud of you for staying focused ❤️.” He added two playful notes on her post: “Thinking of Spanish names.. right now 👨🏽‍🍼,” and “100% team boy 💙 😩🙏🏾.”

The couple first drew attention in October 2024 when podcaster DJ Akademiks claimed they were dating following Cardi B’s separation from Offset. Cardi later confirmed the relationship in June 2025 with an Instagram post showing the pair together on a yacht, captioned: “Chapter 5 ……Hello Chapter six.”

The surprise roses marked both a celebration of Cardi’s album and a milestone in the couple’s relationship as they prepare to welcome their child.
