Ahead of the first anniversary of Liam Payne’s tragic death, his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, posted AI-generated images of the couple on Instagram.

Liam Payne, the former One Direction member, died on October 16, 2024, at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
At the time, he had been vacationing with Cassidy, though she returned to Florida early.
Reports later indicated that Payne had multiple drugs in his system and that his hotel room was in disarray.
Authorities determined that the cause of death was trauma resulting in internal and external bleeding from the fall.
Since his passing, Cassidy has publicly mourned Payne, sharing her grief while asking for privacy. On what would have been his 32nd birthday, she honored him by baking a cake, highlighting the depth of their relationship.
