D4vd spotted near Celeste Rivas home before disappearance as leaked photos fuel Tesla case speculation

Singer D4vd, also known as David Burke, has come under further scrutiny after new photographs surfaced placing him near the home of Celeste Rivas, the 15-year-old whose remains were discovered in his abandoned Tesla earlier this month. The report was first published by TMZ on September 17, 2025.

According to TMZ, one of the photos shows D4vd in Lake Elsinore, California — the same area where Rivas lived with her family before she disappeared in April 2024. Using Google Maps, the outlet confirmed the singer was photographed only 0.3 miles from Rivas’ residence, roughly a six-minute walk away. The image allegedly shows D4vd interacting with another man carrying a bag.

Another widely shared photo, also cited by TMZ, appears to show D4vd with a girl bearing a striking resemblance to Rivas. However, law enforcement has not confirmed the girl’s identity. TMZ noted the similarity has fueled speculation online but stressed that investigators have not publicly verified any connection.

The outlet further reported that both D4vd and Rivas had a “Shhh…” tattoo inked on their right index fingers. Rivas’ mother told TMZ that her daughter had been dating someone named David before she went missing, raising additional questions about a possible link to the singer.

As previously reported, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the remains found in D4vd’s Tesla were those of Rivas. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is treating the case as a homicide, though the cause of death has been listed as “deferred.”

Amid the investigation, TMZ reported that D4vd canceled a scheduled Seattle concert on Wednesday and returned to Los Angeles earlier the same day. He has not publicly commented on the latest allegations.
