Cardi B says she has not ruled out marriage after her divorce from Offset. The Grammy-winning rapper shared her thoughts on love and her new relationship during a September 16 appearance on Today with Jenna Bush Hager.
“Yeah, I would get married again,” Cardi said. “I believe in love. I’m like a hopeless romantic.”
The rapper, who filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after seven years of marriage, is now dating NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Describing their relationship, she called it “sparkling” and compared it to the Fourth of July. The couple first sparked dating rumors in October 2024 and confirmed their romance publicly in May at a New York Knicks game.
Cardi, 32, also spoke about balancing her personal life with motherhood. She shares three children with Offset — daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, 12 months. “Everybody knows how devoted I am as a mother, so they just know that this is what I come with,” she said.
Offset, who released his solo album Kiari in August, addressed the split on the closing track “Move On,” telling the Associated Press the project marked the end of that chapter in his life.
Cardi B continues to support Diggs as the NFL season begins, adding she plans to attend his games after finishing work on her upcoming album.
The interview marks one of Cardi’s most candid reflections on love since her separation, highlighting her optimism about marriage and her new chapter with Diggs.
