PFA unearths counterfeit milk unit
The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) seized equipment and raw material from a residential property used for producing fake milk in Bhera, according to a spokesperson.
The substandard milk was reportedly being produced secretly in a room of the house. The raiding team seized a large quantity of skimmed milk powder and vegetable oil, which were being used for adulteration.
All machinery found on the premises was confiscated, and a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the suspects at the local police station. The spokesperson urged c8tizens to report instances of milk adulteration through the PFA helpline.
