ISLAMABAD:

The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) will present "In Trinity Together," a landmark retrospective exhibition celebrating six decades of artistic excellence by acclaimed painter and poet Dr Raja Changez Sultan.

Curated by Noor Fatima, the exhibition opens on September 17 (Wednesday) at PNCA Gallery 1 and the Grand Hall in Islamabad. Ms. Natalie A. Baker, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, will inaugurate the show as guest of honour. Exhibition Manager Sarah Rajper is overseeing the event.

The retrospective features Sultan's most celebrated series, including The Himalayan Odyssey, The Divided Self, A Thousand Faces of Eve, The Wood Nymphs, Birds of Paradise, The Three Graces, and the deeply personal Crucifixion of Eve — with parts of the latter being unveiled publicly for the first time.

Described as "an evolving journey of one of Pakistan's most reclusive yet significant modern artists," the exhibition reflects Sultan's lifelong exploration of myth, memory, identity, and the majesty of nature.

To deepen public engagement, PNCA will host a special day of programming on September 25 (Thursday), featuring an Artist Talk, a Poetry Reading by Sultan, and a Live Painting Demonstration.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors until October 1 (excluding Saturdays). Registration for the Artist Talk is available through PNCA's official link.

Spiritual healing event

Your aura can make or break you. The theme was discussed at length in a private gathering organised in Islamabad's G-5/1 sector.

Answering the audience's questions Khan said that aura is a person's first introduction and how a human is perceived by the rest of the world depends on it. He added that a broken aura, in most cases contributes to illness, both physical and spiritual and gratitude is the best remedy for it.

Responding to a question on how economic stability impacts a person's aura, he said that he has witnessed that the most impoverished people possess the best auras. This could be due to the fact that despite lack, they possess gratitude.
