The Los Angeles Police Department has released identifying information about human remains discovered inside a car registered to musician D4vd (David Anthony Burke).
The Tesla, abandoned in Hollywood and later towed, was searched after a foul odor was reported. Investigators found a bag in the trunk containing body parts.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the remains are those of a female. She is described as approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 71 pounds, with wavy black hair.
At the time she was found, she was wearing a tube top and black leggings, along with a metal stud earring and a chain bracelet shaped like a “W.”
A distinguishing feature noted by investigators is a tattoo on her right index finger that reads “Shhh...” Authorities hope this detail, along with other descriptions, will help confirm her identity.
The official identity of the victim has not been released, and the cause of death remains under investigation. Police have not confirmed how long the remains were inside the vehicle.
At this stage, no suspects have been publicly identified, and D4vd has not been named one.
Sources indicate the singer is aware of the situation and is cooperating with authorities as the investigation continues.
