KARACHI: This is with reference to Shahid M Amin’s “What next for India and Pakistan” (June 30). Pakistan’s misadventures in Indian occupied Kashmir have fired back. And India’s adventurism in Afghanistan doesn’t bode well for the peace process. As the theory of Pakistan’s strategic depth in Afghanistan gets disproved by American intervention and Taliban outfits acting independently of their benefactors within Pakistan’s state apparatus, there is a need to rethink the dynamics of the India-Pakistan-Afghanistan equation.
