The Supreme Court has issued a proforma for murder and other criminal cases. Under the new requirement, all basic case details must be provided on a one-page form. Parties are now required to submit this information form along with the case.
The proforma will include the FIR number, police station, postmortem results, names and ages of the accused, and dates of arrest. It will also record the trial court and high court verdicts, as well as the day and time of the postmortem.
Furthermore, the forensic results must be mentioned on the form. Judges will be able to access all essential case details from this single-page document.
