Senior journalist Amir Mehmood laid to rest
Funeral was attended by a large number of people, including Adviser to the Sindh CM Waqar Mehdi
KARACHI:
Former secretary general of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), and senior journalist Amir Mehmood was laid to rest in the Defence Phase 8 graveyard on Thursday, following prayers at Quran Academy, DHA Phase VI.
The funeral was attended by a large number of people, including Adviser to the Sindh CM Waqar Mehdi, All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) President Sarmad Ali, CPNE Secretary General Ghulam Nabi Chandio, Finance Secretary Hamid Hussain Abidi, Vice President (Sindh) Qazi Asad Abid, former secretary general Ejazul Haq and others.
