A Judicial Magistrate has acquitted alleged gang war ringleader Uzair Baloch in a case related to the facilitation of illegal arms supplies.
The court ordered his release and directed the jail superintendent to free him if he is not wanted in any other cases. Defence counsel Haider argued that police had failed to produce any substantial evidence. The court agreed, leading to Baloch's acquittal and the issuance of release orders. According to the police charge sheet, a co-accused named Saifeel had implicated Baloch and another suspect, Noor, in his confessional statement, alleging they facilitated the arms supply.
