Netflix has released the main trailer and a new visual for the upcoming third season of Alice in Borderland, the live-action drama based on Haro Aso’s suspense manga.

The trailer highlights the return of Kento Yamazaki as Ryohei Arisu and Tao Tsuchiya as Yuzuha Usagi, who reprise their lead roles. They are joined by Koji Okura, Risa Sudo, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu and Kento Kaku, expanding the cast for the new chapter.

Netflix Japan also unveiled a striking key visual featuring the characters preparing to face fresh challenges in the Borderland.

Directed by Shinsuke Sato, known for Kingdom and the live-action Bleach, Alice in Borderland first streamed on Netflix in December 2020, followed by its second season in December 2022. Both earlier seasons received global acclaim, solidifying the series as one of Netflix’s most popular Japanese live-action titles.

In Season 3, Arisu and Usagi, now married, live peacefully in the real world, their memories of the Borderland appearing only in dreams.

When Usagi suddenly disappears, she is drawn back to the Borderland under the guidance of Ryuji, a man researching the afterlife. Arisu, devastated, learns from Banda—now a Borderland resident—about her whereabouts, forcing him to return to the perilous games to find her.

Alice in Borderland's high-stakes games and dangerous choices return tp Netflix on September 25.
