Joshua Fay Saunders, better known online as KingCobraJFS, has died at the age of 34.
The YouTuber and musician was reportedly found unresponsive in his Casper, Wyoming home on August 22, 2025. While scanner audio from local police indicated he was discovered “blue at the lips,” the official cause of death has not yet been released.
Saunders launched his YouTube channel in 2011, where his gothic persona, homemade “food hacks,” and candid rants gained him a cult following. He also showcased his love for guitar playing, vocal covers, and wand-making, which became signature aspects of his content. His openness about living with Asperger’s syndrome drew both admiration and criticism, as he navigated the challenges of being a highly visible figure in online “lolcow” culture.
