Following the arrest of her elder son, Shahrez Khan, earlier this week, Aleema Khan’s younger son, Shershah Khan, was also taken into custody, officials confirmed on Friday.
A Lahore police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that Sher Shah was taken into custody at around 1:40pm today.
He said the arrest was carried out by the same team involved in Thursday’s operation, shortly after Shah was returning from a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
According to the official, Shah was apprehended near the American School on Upper Mall and subsequently moved to an undisclosed location.
After Shahraiz, Aleema Khan’s other son, Shershah, has also been abducted.

PTI Chairperson Barrister Gohar Ali Khan reacted strongly to the arrest of Aleema Khan’s second son, Shershah Khan.
“By arresting Imran Khan’s family members, the government is deliberately creating political tension,” said Barrister Gohar.
The news comes in a few hours after an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore granted the police eight-day physical remand of Aleema's other son Shahrez.
According to PTI leaders, the raid took place late Wednesday night when a group of unidentified individuals allegedly forced their way into Aleema Khan’s residence. Party officials claimed that household staff were assaulted, family members harassed, and Shahrez Khan was taken from his bedroom in front of his children.
PTI’s central information department issued a statement describing the incident as “the height of thuggery and oppression,” adding that “even domestic workers were subjected to brutal violence.”
The party further alleged that the raid occurred just a day after Shahrez had been prevented from travelling abroad with his wife, when he was reportedly stopped at Lahore airport and “illegally offloaded” from a flight. PTI leaders said the timing of the two incidents indicated a deliberate campaign of harassment targeting relatives of Imran Khan.
Shahrez Khan, 39, was a well-known triathlete and businessman. Educated at Aitchison College in Lahore, he later earned an MBA from Oxford University before joining Simba Global, an Australia-based linen supplier, where he served as regional head. PTI highlighted his achievements as Pakistan’s top Ironman athlete, noting that he was only the second Pakistani triathlete ever to qualify for the World Championship.
