Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, has publicly refuted speculation that she is expecting another child with her former partner, rapper NBA YoungBoy.
The rumors began on August 12, 2025, after NBA YoungBoy released a surprise mixtape titled Deshawn, hosted by DJ Khaled. One track, “This Month Confessions,” includes a lyric suggesting Yaya is pregnant: “Now Yaya pregnant, gotta make her get rid of it. This ain’t the time, I told you, ‘No.’”
Following the song’s release, fans on social media quickly speculated about the possibility of another child, particularly since NBA YoungBoy has been married to Jazlyn Mychelle since 2023.
While denying the claim, Yaya also voiced her continued support for NBA YoungBoy. On her Instagram Story, she wrote, “idk where y’all getting this from but I’m not pregnant,” followed by, “I love you more than words could ever explain, and no matter how far away you go in the world, I’ll always be here for you, cheering you on. You’re never alone.”
Yaya and NBA YoungBoy share a son, Kentrell Gaulden Jr., who turned four in January. The child is often seen with his grandfather, Floyd Mayweather, including during training sessions in the boxing gym.
Earlier this year, Mayweather discussed his relationship with the 25-year-old rapper on The Pivot Podcast, saying, “Me and NBA YoungBoy speak on a regular, speak on the daily. I’m very happy for his career, proud of him. And eventually, he’s gonna grow like anybody that’s young.”
The mixtape lyric may have fueled speculation, but Yaya’s statement leaves no doubt — she is not pregnant.
