KATSEYE, the multinational girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, delivered a standout debut at Lollapalooza 2025 in Chicago’s Grant Park.

Their high-impact set introduced two new tracks and reportedly set the record for the largest audience ever recorded for an early daytime set with an estimated 85,000 attendees between 2 pm and 4 pm, cementing their arrival as a global force in K-pop

The group, comprised of Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, rose to prominence through Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.

“Gabriela,” inspired by Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” was reimagined as a Latin ballad with flamenco choreography and Spanish lyrics.

“M.I.A.” followed with a darker electro-pop tone, demonstrating the group’s stylistic range. Alongside these premieres, the group also performed fan favourites “Touch,” “Debut,” and “Gnarly".

KATSEYE's international appeal was evident in the crowd’s response, with “Eyekons” showing strong fan support.

The set, which followed BoyNextDoor, kept the festival energy high and showcased how KATSEYE is redefining K-pop through authenticity and inclusivity.
