Police have arrested a man who allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs200,000 from robbery suspects in exchange for not participating in their identification parade.

According to the police report, the case relates to FIR No. 1066/25 filed at Chak Jhumra police station. The suspects involved in the robbery were sent to jail for an official identification parade. However, the complainant, Azmat Ali, failed to appear for the procedure.

Subsequent investigations revealed that Azmat Ali had allegedly struck a deal with the accused and accepted a bribe of Rs200,000 to deliberately avoid the identification process.
