Rob Kardashian is stepping into the spotlight, briefly, to offer a rare glimpse into his private life, and he’s making it clear: dating is not on his agenda. On the latest episode of Khloé Kardashian’s podcast Khloé in Wonderland, the 38-year-old opened up about how fatherhood changed everything, especially his approach to relationships.
“I’ve been single for eight years, since Dream was born,” Rob shared, referring to his daughter with ex-fiancée Blac Chyna. “Of course I’ve dated, but I’ve never gotten serious or wanted to.”
Rob admitted that while he still enjoys life and occasionally dates, the idea of being in a relationship just doesn’t appeal to him. “I just don’t care to be dating somebody, honestly. Unless it just happens. It just hasn’t.”
Though Rob remains largely off the radar, especially compared to his famously public sisters, Khloé playfully hinted that her brother still has his moments. “Rob might be a recluse, but let me tell you, Rob still gets around. It’s wild,” she joked.
But Rob’s priorities are clear. “I’m trying to be a good example,” he said. “I don’t bring girls to the house. I don’t have girls meet my daughter.”
Since his dramatic breakup with Blac Chyna and the family’s legal battles that followed, Rob has stayed away from the public dating scene and hasn’t been linked to anyone seriously. While he admits he might be ‘too strict’ with his dating rules, he stands by them. His focus remains squarely on Dream, now 8, and building a stable environment for her.
