Destroy Lonely is facing public backlash and possible legal consequences after a 15-year-old fan was seriously injured during his performance at the Beach, Please! festival in Romania.
The incident took place over the weekend, during the rapper’s set, which formed part of his current run of appearances following the release of see you soon </3.
According to Romanian outlet Adevărul, the teenager, Nicolas, approached the stage after showing a message on his phone asking to join the artist. Once onstage, Destroy Lonely allegedly encouraged him to jump into the crowd. “You're going to jump! I need you to jump back into the fans! Are you ready?” he reportedly said.

Nicolas claims he made it clear he did not want to jump, but was pressured and physically pushed by the rapper. The teenager missed the crowd and fell onto a metal barricade, sustaining a lung contusion, liver damage, and a kidney injury. He was taken to Constanța County Hospital and remains in intensive care.
His mother has reportedly expressed intentions to file a legal complaint over the incident. “He told me he was sorry for coming to such a festival,” she said. Festival organisers also allegedly stated they no longer wish to work with Destroy Lonely.
Despite the incident, the rapper reportedly continued performing. There has been no official statement from Destroy Lonely or his team regarding the allegations.
The case is developing, and further legal action may follow depending on the outcome of the family’s complaint.
