Central President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Senator Aimal Wali Khan, has announced that a meeting of the party's think tank will be convened following the third day of mourning for slain party leader Maulana Khanzaib.
The meeting will finalize the party's response and strategy, including protests against the deteriorating law and order situation across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
While offering condolences to the bereaved family in Bajaur, Aimal Wali Khan issued a strong statement, declaring that the state must apprehend Maulana Khanzaib's killersor be held directly responsible. "This martyrdom is the result of state negligence and failed policies," he said. "Every such incident from now on will see an FIR registered against the state itself."
Senator Aimal described Maulana Khanzaib as not only a dedicated member of ANP but a courageous, principled, and peace-loving figure of the entire region. "His loss is irreparable. Throughout his life, he stood for peace, resistance, and the philosophy of Bacha Khan. It is now our duty to ensure that he gets justice," he emphasized.
He reassured party workers that while the ANP is in mourning, it is not weak. No human with a heart can bear to witness the tears of his children and siblings".
