The luxury streetwear brand Rastah blends traditional South Asian craftsmanship with modern Western designs. Founded in Lahore by cousins Zain Ahmad, Ismail Ahmad, and Adnan Ahmad, the brand celebrates the fusion of cultural heritage with contemporary style.

To everyone’s surprise, Indian musician and actor Diljit Dosanjh rocked a pair of archival navy-blue trousers in his latest film, Sardaar Ji 3. Pakistani fans certainly felt the love despite the ongoing tensions between the two countries. Dosanjh’s support for the brand comes after facing significant backlash from his own country, following the global release of the film. Many in India called for a ban on him, particularly due to the casting of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir as the female lead.
In October 2024, the Saltburn star wore the black hoodie from Rastah’s core collection, adorned with the brand’s signature screen-printed logo on the chest. The hoodie was styled seamlessly with light-washed denim jeans and crisp white trainers. Recently, Keoghan sported a sage green hoodie. A custom hoodie for Keoghan’s son, Brando was also made. Rastah shared the adorable snap on their Instagram, “...had to make a custom Rastah piece for the little guy as well.”
Staying true to his Pakistani roots, Riz Ahmed has worn Rastah on multiple occasions. For his interview with Esquire he wore a handwoven pink shirt featuring a stamped flower motif. On another occasion, Ahmed was seen wearing a multi-coloured Rastah jacket on stage.
In May 2024, following the release of his album Room Under the Stairs, Zayn was seen wearing Rastah’s blockprint hoodie on his Instagram Story. The hoodie features vibrant embroidered patches depicting animals, birds, and mythical creatures on a black base.

Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor wore Rastah’s ‘Hand-woven Dot Jacket’ for the Mumbai premiere of Animal.
