Newcastle United have reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest to sign Swedish winger Anthony Elanga for £55 million, with the deal expected to be finalised this week.

The 23-year-old, who made a significant impact at Forest last season, is set to bolster Newcastle's attacking options as the club prepares for a return to the UEFA Champions League after finishing fifth in the Premier League last season.
