Liver King challenges Joe Rogan to $1M grappling match as Alex Jones alleges arrest

Alex Jones claims Liver King was allegedly arrested for plotting attack on Joe Rogan—no official confirmation yet.

Conspiracy figure Alex Jones sparked controversy on X by alleging that Brian Johnson, also known as the Liver King, has been arrested by the Austin Police Department for “terroristic threats” against podcast host Joe Rogan.

In a June 24 post, Jones claimed Liver King had traveled to Austin intending to attack Rogan and described him as “disheveled and unhinged,” stating the influencer had “lost his mind.” A separate user, @triffic_stuff_, echoed the allegation in a viral post: “He’s been rambling recently about wanting to fight Joe… Wild!”

Despite the online frenzy, no law enforcement agency or credible media outlet has confirmed any arrest. The Austin Police Department has released no statements, and no court or booking records are publicly available that support Jones’ claims.

Notably, in February 2025, a different man was charged with making terroristic threats against Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership in Austin. That case is entirely unrelated, and the individuals and circumstances are distinct.

As of now, the story remains unverified. Jones, known for promoting conspiracy theories, has provided no evidence beyond the initial post. Without confirmation from police or official sources, the rumor about Liver King's arrest should be treated as speculative.
