FX’s acclaimed restaurant drama The Bear is back with its highly anticipated fourth season premiering on June 26, 2025. The series, which has become a cultural phenomenon since its debut in 2022, continues to follow the intense and emotional journey of chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto and his crew as they try to keep their fine-dining Chicago restaurant afloat.
The new season picks up right where Season 3 left off: Carmy, played by Jeremy Allen White, has just read a brutal review of his restaurant, The Bear—one that threatens the stability of everything he's been trying to build. The fallout promises to send ripples through his personal life, especially his relationships with Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Claire (Molly Gordon).
As in previous seasons, the cast remains strong, with Edebiri, Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Matty Matheson, and Oliver Platt all returning. Jamie Lee Curtis also reprises her Emmy-nominated role as Carmy’s mother, Donna, whose chaotic presence continues to haunt the Berzatto family dynamic.
Season 4 also marks a creative expansion behind the scenes. Both Ayo Edebiri and Lionel Boyce co-wrote an episode this season—an exciting first for the actors, and a reflection of the show's collaborative spirit under creator Christopher Storer and co-showrunner Joanna Calo.
Shot back-to-back with Season 3, the fourth season dives deeper into the high-stakes world of fine dining while continuing to explore themes of anxiety, perfectionism, and unresolved trauma—often under the pressure cooker of a bustling kitchen.
With ten new episodes and the series’ trademark blend of chaos, comedy, and heartbreak, The Bear is once again ready to serve something unforgettable.
