Young television stars Samar Abbas Jafri and Aina Asif have spoken warmly about their off-screen bond and mutual respect as co-actors, amid growing public interest in their on-screen pairing.
In a recent interview with Maliha Rao, 21-year-old Samar Jafri praised his Parwarish co-star, calling Aina “mature for her age” and “sensible”. He added that despite their age gap, he feels at ease working with her, noting that their personal rapport translates directly into their chemistry on screen.
“That is also one of the reasons for our good bond and friendship off-screen, which also reflects on our on-screen chemistry,” he said. Jafri added there was no awkwardness despite fans frequently “shipping” the two.

Separately, Aina Asif, 16, appeared on a entertainment talk show where she reflected on their longstanding relationship, revealing that their families have known each other for years. “Our mothers were college mates,” she shared, calling their bond “familiar” and easygoing.
“We’ve always had family terms,” she said, noting that the sense of comfort helps create a positive work environment. Asif added that she and Jafri support each other through long shooting hours and share a light-hearted dynamic on set. “We always have each other’s back,” she said.
Asif also addressed the public attention surrounding their pairing. “Samar is a good friend, so I don’t mind the shipping,” she remarked. “It would feel awkward if it happened with someone I’m not close to.”
