David Beckham marked Father’s Day 2025 with an emotional tribute to his four children, amid ongoing tensions with his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.

On Sunday, the 50-year-old football legend shared a carousel of throwback photos on Instagram, expressing his love and pride for Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. “My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad,” Beckham wrote, tagging each of his children and his wife, Victoria Beckham.

While sons Cruz and Romeo left warm messages in the comments, Brooklyn did not publicly acknowledge the post. He also remained silent on his own Instagram account, fueling speculation that the rift between him and his parents continues.

The tribute follows recent signs of reconciliation. Just a day prior, Beckham, who was recently knighted by King Charles III, extended an olive branch by tagging Brooklyn in Victoria’s celebratory post about his knighthood.

Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, have had a strained relationship with the Beckham family since their 2022 wedding. The couple skipped David’s 50th birthday party in May, reportedly due to issues involving Romeo’s former girlfriend. Additionally, Brooklyn did not visit his parents during a recent trip to London.

Sources close to the couple say they’ve hired Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s former lawyer, Jenny Afia, for reputation management, citing frustration with ongoing rumors.

Despite the drama, Beckham’s Father’s Day post reaffirmed his commitment to his family: “I will always be here for you no matter what.”
