Officials have been asked to provide details on locations and deployment duration within a week. The request also includes mobile signal jamming in select sensitive zones.
To prevent sectarian tensions, the government has issued guidelines mandating that non-Shia congregations remain separate from Ahl-e-Tashee events.

As part of infrastructure safety, electricity companies have been instructed to address loose or hanging wires along procession routes.
District officials will conduct reconnaissance to identify risk-prone areas, with technical teams on standby.
Loudspeaker use will be monitored under the Punjab Sound Systems (Regulation) Act, 2015, with daily field reports and strict enforcement measures.
District Intelligence Committees are to finalize contingency plans and update lists of speakers under restrictions.
The Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department will coordinate Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen committee meetings at divisional levels to maintain sectarian harmony.
Unauthorised processions or gatherings will not be permitted, with all activities to be conducted within approved parameters.
The provincial government stated that these measures are part of a broader commitment to peaceful Muharram commemorations while managing long-standing security challenges.
