Khadiyah “KD” Lewis, who gained recognition on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, has died at the age of 44. The news was confirmed by her family on June 5, following her passing on May 30, 2025.

Her brother Jamaal “Jay” Lewis told The Shade Room, “This has been an extremely emotionally devastating time. All prayers, condolences, and well wishes are sincerely appreciated.” The family also confirmed that a Zoom memorial will be held, with a funeral scheduled for June 11 at Earl M. Temple Memorial Chapel in Oklahoma City.

Khadiyah appeared in Seasons 3 and 4 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, notably in a storyline centred on her relationship with rapper Yung Joc. Beyond her reality TV presence, she described herself online as an entrepreneur, speaker, consultant, accountant, and branding ambassador.

Her younger brother, Elijah Inegbedion, shared an emotional tribute on Facebook, writing, “Been at a lost for words for some days now. And to think that I’ll ever have the words to describe the person you’ve been and the legacy that you left behind would be erroneous. Long Live my sister Khadiyah Lewis. You left behind a legacy most individuals can only dream of. Thank you for loving me the way you did and always having my back no matter what.”

The cause of death has not been disclosed. The family has asked for privacy and will not be providing further details at this time.
