Lil Wayne is officially hitting the road with the Tha Carter VI Tour, set to kick off shortly after the long-awaited release of Tha Carter VI on June 6, 2025.
Announced Tuesday, the tour begins with a major launch event at Madison Square Garden—marking Lil Wayne’s first solo headline performance at the iconic New York City venue. The North American tour spans 34 dates, running from June 6 to October 2, and will feature stops in major cities including Toronto, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Detroit, and Dallas.
Tyga will join Weezy as a special guest for the full run, along with Belly Gang Kushington, making it a partial Young Money reunion. Rising star NoCap is also scheduled to perform at select dates.
Tickets go on artist pre-sale June 4, with general public sales opening June 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can also purchase VIP packages featuring premium seating, exclusive merch, early venue access, and limited-edition tour posters.
Tha Carter VI is Lil Wayne’s first solo album since 2020’s Funeral, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Previous Carter albums (Carter III, IV, and V) have all topped the charts, building anticipation for this latest entry.
Lil Wayne first teased the album in a Cetaphil Super Bowl commercial, later confirming the release date in April. With the album and tour both on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a massive year for the rap icon.
