Saim Ayub then joined Mohammad Haris at the crease, and the pair rebuilt the innings with a fluent 92-run stand, taking the score to 100. Saim scored a brisk 45 off 29 balls, including four sixes, before falling to a slower delivery from Hasan Mahmud.

Haris, meanwhile, brought up his half-century off just 25 balls and continued to anchor the chase aggressively. Hasan Nawaz chipped in with a blistering cameo—26 off 13—but was dismissed with the score at 137.

He finished unbeaten on a stunning 107* off 53 balls, laced with seven sixes and eight boundaries, as Pakistan chased down the target with 16 balls to spare.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, openers Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon laid a solid foundation as Bangladesh posted 196 for 6.

Bangladesh got off to a flying start, with Tanzid and Parvez putting up a century stand in just ten overs to set the tone for a big score.

The pair added 110 runs together, with Parvez reaching his half-century off just 27 deliveries. However, both openers fell within four balls of each other. Tanzid scored 42 runs off 32 balls, including three sixes, while Parvez played at an impressive strike rate close to 200, scoring 66 off 34 balls with seven fours and four sixes.

After the openers fell, captain Litton Das joined Towhid Hridoy, and the duo took the score to 162, putting on a 49-run partnership before both were dismissed for 22 and 25 runs respectively.
