Supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid have publicly confirmed the existence of their 23-year-old half-sister, Aydan Nix, describing her as a “beautiful and unexpected addition” to their family. The younger sibling, who graduated from Manhattan’s Parsons School of Design earlier this month, was introduced to the public in a statement shared Thursday.
According to the Daily Mail, Aydan is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid, the Hadid family’s multi-millionaire real estate developer father, and Terri Hatfield Dull. The pregnancy followed a brief relationship Mohamed had after his divorce from Yolanda Hadid over 20 years ago. Aydan was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, where she grew up with the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19. Following his death, Aydan took a genetic test out of curiosity, revealing her biological connection to the Hadid family.
The sisters first connected in late 2023 when Aydan was studying abroad in Paris, and since then have been frequently photographed together.

Family sources told the Daily Mail that the siblings have maintained close contact and are growing closer over time. Mohamed Hadid, now 76, reportedly maintains a private relationship with Aydan but has never publicly acknowledged her.
In their statement, Gigi and Bella asked the public to respect Aydan’s privacy and honor her wish for anonymity as she builds her life in New York. A budding fashion designer and stylist, Aydan recently graduated from Parsons and is reportedly focused on pursuing her career in the fashion industry.
The Hadid family’s announcement closes a chapter of secrecy around Aydan’s connection to the famous siblings, welcoming her openly into their inner circle.
