17-year-old boy: Relative of SHC chief justice kidnapped

Media persons requested to proceed with restraint to guarantee safety of abducted boy.

KARACHI: A 17-year-old son of a distant cousin of the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, Sarmad Jalal Usmani, was abducted on Saturday morning from the Disco Bakery area in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

Meanwhile, the chief justice’s office was flooded with inquiries from senior lawyers, well wishers and friends about the boy’s safety. Media persons have been requested to proceed with restraint to guarantee safety of the abducted boy. The victim has been identified as Faizan Ahmed, a resident of Cosy Homes in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
