Rest assured, anxious fans, Mawra Hocane has no plans of getting rid of her long hair. She confirmed the news, which might come as a relief to some, in a recent Instagram Story: "Clearly never getting a bob cut."
It seems it was a lighthearted prank on the Jafaa actor's part when she teased fans with the idea of a hair transformation in an earlier post. "Will you forgive me if I told you I got a bob?" she wrote on Monday, below photos of her hair pinned to the side and set to give the false impression of a shoulder-length cut.
Long-hair lovers were quick to comment their disapproval under the post, including fellow actor Minal Khan who declared with a laughing emoji, "Never."
Devoted fans, on the other hand, were confident that Mawra wouldn't test the waters when it comes to her hair. "You and bob? Never. The infinite love you have for your long, healthy, and pretty hair is proof that this will not happen anytime soon, Mawra," a user wrote.
But given how the actor glowed in her photos, some even approved the false look. "Pretty, little stunner. The short hair isn't just a look, it's a whole vibe on you. Masha Allah," a netizen said.
Mawra couldn't keep up the facade for too long, as in the very next pose she flaunted her silky hair in its full length and glory. The only addition were the short strands falling over her forehead because bangs are as far as the Sabaat actor can go when it comes to cutting her hair. Donning an elegant white sari, she wrote, "In my 'I'd die for you' glam era."
Fans rushed to offer their compliments for both the hair and the sari. "Loving the bangs!" a user gushed, while another pointed out, "The way she glows ten times brighter in a white sari!"
