Cassie Ventura has given birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine, just days after testifying in Sean "Diddy" Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial. The birth, which occurred on Tuesday, was confirmed by a source familiar with the matter, according to NBC News.

The birth comes at a pivotal moment, as Ventura has been involved in high-profile legal proceedings related to her past relationship with Combs. Ventura, a singer and model, previously announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing black-and-white family photos with her husband and their two daughters.

Earlier this month, Ventura spent nearly a week on the witness stand, offering detailed testimony about alleged sexual assault and abuse by Combs. Her 2023 civil lawsuit sparked a wave of similar claims from others, ultimately leading to a federal investigation. Ventura disclosed in court that the lawsuit had been settled just one day after it was filed, with Combs agreeing to pay $20 million. He has denied all allegations.

Ventura, who was more than eight months pregnant at the time, began her testimony on May 13. Anticipating her due date, lead prosecutor Maurene Comey urged the court to expedite cross-examination. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian agreed, citing a prior agreement with the defense to conclude questioning within a day and a half.

However, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo suggested Ventura might need to return for further testimony. The judge responded sharply, questioning the defense’s expectations and reminding them of the agreed schedule.
