A team of officers under his supervision collected detailed information about the network of those allegedly involved in the illicit gutka and mawa business in Surjani Town. The inquiry revealed that Pirzada was receiving weekly payments totaling Rs1.1 million from known figures in the illegal trade. Despite occupying the SHO position, Pirzada took no action against the organised sale of banned substances.
