In a heartbreaking incident on Friday night, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd tragically lost her life in a horrific ATV crash in rural Pennsylvania.

Boyd, the girlfriend of former Penn State football star Julian Fleming, died at the scene from extensive injuries after the vehicle collided with a deer on a road near the New York state line.

Fleming, who was driving the Yamaha quad, was left with serious injuries and rushed to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.

According to authorities, neither Fleming nor Boyd were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

The tragic crash has sparked an outpouring of tributes for Boyd, a graduate of the University of Alabama, who had been celebrated for her vibrant presence on social media.

Fleming, 24, who transferred to Penn State in 2024 from Ohio State, had been hoping for a professional football career.

He declared for the NFL Draft, but after going unselected, he was signed by the Green Bay Packers—only to have his contract rescinded a few weeks ago due to failing a physical.

The loss has stunned their friends and family, many of whom had expressed excitement at the couple's recent “Instagram official” announcement in November.

As the community continues to mourn, Fleming’s condition remains serious, and it is unclear what the future holds for his recovery.
