Netflix’s latest limited series Sirens has premiered, offering a gripping five-episode drama packed with tension, mystery, and dark comedy.

Created by Molly Smith Metzler and based on her play Elemeno Pea, Sirens explores the fragile line between wealth and control, set against the backdrop of a luxurious coastal estate.

The show stars Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) and Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) as estranged sisters Devon and Simone DeWitt. Their unexpected reunion at a seaside mansion quickly turns into a psychological showdown, fueled by secrets and suspicion. Julianne Moore plays Michaela Kell, Simone’s enigmatic boss, whose influence adds unsettling layers to the family dynamic.

Devon begins to question her sister’s loyalty and sudden transformation under Michaela’s control. Kevin Bacon appears as Michaela’s husband Peter, adding more depth to the show’s exploration of class and manipulation. Supporting cast members include Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Felix Solis.

Despite the idyllic setting — designer clothes, ocean views, and high-society glamour — the story unfolds as a tightly wound thriller that unpacks complex relationships and buried truths. Fahy praised her co-stars, describing the experience as “working with incredible actors” in a project that’s as tense as it is stylish.

With a mix of drama, dark humor, and societal critique, Sirens is already generating buzz among fans of cerebral thrillers and character-driven storytelling. The series is now streaming on Netflix.
