RAWALPINDI:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has warned that if the power holders' attitude remains indifferent with the PTI, K-P will not support the government during its talks with the IMF.

Talking to media after meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Thursday, Gandapur said that the K-P is the only province which has fulfilled all its targets.

"My stance is same as that of Imran Khan over COAS," said Gandapur, adding the opinions of party leaders have no value after the statement of the PTI founder.

The K-P CM pointed out that he was given the duty to manage the government, but now he will also mobilize for protests.

Gandapur said the state cannot be run by force and those, who are running the show, must acknowledge the reality. He demanded that the PTI founder be released.

Meanwhile, after PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan paid tribute to COAS General Asim Munir, PTI founder Imran Khan's sister, Aleema Khanum, clarified that it was the personal opinion of the PTI chairman and that the party does not endorse the statement.

Talking to journalists outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khanum said Imran Khan's stance on the matter had already been conveyed to the media. She said no one from the establishment came to see Imran Khan in jail, adding reports about talks are being spread to divert attention. "We won't accept if anyone from the party talks about dialogue with the government," she asserted.

Aleema emphasized that Barrister Gohar cannot represent PTI in Imran Khan's presence, and reiterated that Imran Khan had already expressed his position regarding the COAS being given the title of Field Marshal. She quoted Imran Khan saying, "There is a law of the jungle, and the COAS could give himself the title of King."

Aleema further quoted Imran Khan criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that Modi must be behind recent misadventures and that India's sponsorship of terrorism demonstrates Modi's active role.
