Pop star Katy Perry paused her concert at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada to address a fan she accused of sending private messages to her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom.
During her Lifetimes world tour, Perry singled out a fan named Kyle, warning him to stop messaging Bloom, saying, “If you keep DM-ing my man, I’m going to have you removed.”

The exchange, however, was part of a scripted stunt to engage the audience before Perry performed her 2024 single, I’m His, He’s Mine. The tour, supporting Perry’s seventh studio album 143, has faced criticism and challenges, including delayed starts, low ticket sales, and canceled dates.
Perry’s recent struggles also include fallout from her controversial Blue Origin space flight in April 2025, which was widely mocked. Sources revealed that Perry’s previous Las Vegas residency at Resorts World was deemed a “disaster” by the venue due to poor financial returns, with reports stating the hotel lost money on her show.
Despite the setbacks, Perry continues to perform, addressing online criticism during her May 12 concert in Chicago, where she denied being the “most hated person on the internet.”
The singer’s current tour and past residency illustrate the ups and downs of her career following high-profile events, including her space trip and the mixed reception of her recent music.
