Three killed in honor-related incident in Bajaur

Suspect caught his wife with another man inside his house.

PESHAWAR:

At least three people, including two women, were shot dead in an honor-related incident in Tehsil Wara Mamond of Bajaur district in Peshawar on Friday.

According to police official Zar Aali, the suspect caught his wife with another man inside his house. He reportedly locked them in a room, but the pair managed to escape and took refuge in the man’s home.

The suspect later pursued them, entered the man’s residence, and opened fire, killing his wife and the man on the spot. An elderly woman, identified as Mashahora Bibi, who tried to intervene and save the two, was critically injured in the crossfire.

She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries later. Further investigation is underway.
