Cop among three killed in truck-van collision

Three people, including a policeman, lost their lives, while another passenger suffered injuries after a speeding truck collided with a van near Mohra Kalanwan on GT Road Haripur on Thursday.

Rescue 1122 teams responded swiftly, shifting the deceased and injured to a hospital. The incident cast a pall of gloom over the area.

The accident occurred on GT Road near Sarai Saleh, Haripur, reportedly due to speeding and negligence, resulting in the loss of three valuable lives.

Among the deceased was 28-year-old police constable Adnan. Two others lost their lives, one of whom remains unidentified while another was identified as 21-year-old Abdullah. 20-year-old Faizan Qureshi sustained injuries.
